Had a great meal at the tavern in between hockey games. Fast, super lovely staff! My son wanted a steak sandwich at 9am and the kitchen was happy to accommodate. Accepting and thoughtful of our food restrictions. I love when we have the chance to support this adorable local place!
Food is always excellent! They have something for everyone. AYCE Crab legs is a family favorite, as 2 of us love seafood, and 2 of us love steak and burgers (always cooked to perfection). I highly recommend their cheese steak egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, homemade pizza, hot wings, nachos, I could go on and on. Everything is delicious there ! If you have never had Rootbeer on tap, they have it and it is delicious!!
The Whitpain Tavern is my go to neighborhood bar and restaurant. Great food, friendly employees and some of the best cocktails out there. The bar has it's share of regulars and it is always fun to go in, have a drink and talk with everyone at the bar. Tina who works behind the bar during the day is one of the best bartenders out there. Friendly, attentive, remembers her customer's names and knows her craft. Pat and Alex the owners are hands on, there every day and take pride in their establishment. Two super nice people that get to know their customers. The Whitpain is like my Cheers and I look forward to my visits there each week.
Every piece of fish I've had tasted fresh but it's their sauces man. They know how to pair them. Or if i just want some fried potatoes to go with some shots you can taste that the fryers are clean. Fun cover bands too.
Great place. Great food. Great booz. The atmosphere is just electric. The ATOMIC sauce is absolutely to die for. 10/10

The Whitpain Tavern is the best bar in Montgomery County! Friendly staff, really great food, and an awesome atmosphere. Live Bands, a large Bar area and also restaurant in the building. Located on Dekalb Pike.
